West Valley Historical Society

The West Valley Historical Society was founded in 1998 when the West Valley City Civic Committee divided into the Historical Society and the Sister City Committee.  The WVHS is charged with preserving and sharing the history of the area covered by today’s city boundaries.  These duties included maintaining the city’s Hall of Fame, acting as the liaison between the city and the Utah Historical Society, and participating as an auxiliary of the city’s Cultural Arts Board (CAB).

The Board of Directors for the WVHS meets on the third Monday of each month at 4:30 PM at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (insert address).  This meeting is open to the public.  The Board may include up to thirteen members and currently consists of:
