West Valley City, Utah's second-largest city, is nestled in the Salt Lake Valley between the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountain ranges. West Valley is a progressive city that provides its residents with excellent services and amenities. In just over twenty years of incorporation, West Valley City's population has increased from 72,000 to 108,000 residents and in land area from 17,363 acres to 22,880 acres. The City has added 12 parks, two golf courses, the E Center, the Hale Centre Theatre at Harman Hall and the Family Fitness Center. In spite of the City's rapid growth and development, City leaders have not lost sight of providing high-quality public safety services to its residents.
"I can't think of a City that has come as far overall as West Valley City... You could not have got a better report card," said pollster Dan Jones after conducting a recent survey of West Valley residents
